An Antique Georgian Sterling Silver pair of candlesticks, having round bellied bodies with hand-chased fluted decoration, with gadroon borders, and removable nozzles. Made in Sheffield, 1795 & 1796 (229 years old) Made by Robert Sharp Fully English hallmarked for sterling 925 silver. The dimensions of this fine pair of hand-made antique silver candlesticks are: Length 28.5 cm Wide at base 14.1 x 14.1 cm Approx. 1269 + 799 = 2149 gram (Bruto weight, weighted for stability with materials other then silver) (bobèches weigh 91 grams together) Condition: Very good condition. Hallmarks on the base slightly rubbed on one. One tiny indentation in the top of the scone (not noticable with the scone on top of it).
