A big Chinese famille rose porcelain 'Floral' tea pot. Qing dynasty (大清), Yongzheng or early Qianlong period (1735-1796, 乾隆), early to mid 18th c. Not common model, difficult to find with so well preserved decoration! Finely potted, body with slightly round walls, S-shaped moulded spout and oval ear; cover ribbed. Decorated to the exterior with a large flower spray and four smaller on each side, details highlighted with gilding, geometrical band with iron red and gilt ribbon under the top-rim. The spout and handle with blossom decor. Comes with an original ribbed cover, with flattened finial and analogical decoration. Daylight pictures included. Provenance: private collection, France, Paris. Dimensions: height with cover - c. 14,4 cm; without cover - 12,6 cm; length (with spout and ear) - 22,3 cm; diameter - 13,6 cm. Weight – 602 g.
