Here is a very unusual highly lustrous and glossy flower of slightly pink apatite on siderite and quartz from Morro Velho.
The apatite cluster is 4.3cm large. Note also small brassy metallic pyrrhotite crystals.

Mr Bordes was a collector from Lourdes (France), active from the 1950s to around 2005. A hard worker, he successfully managed and expanded his family's public works business during the post-WWII reconstruction period. He focused on classic species and localities from Europe, the Americas, and Africa.
