1970s Seiko Kameido SCUBA 200m Vintage Scuba 200m 5H25-6000 Wristwatch Quartz New Battery replaced
This model is the first diver-style watch produced by Seiko for women at its亀戸製 Kameido factory in the 1970s. As the name SCUBA 200m suggests, this is a full-fledged diving model with 200m water resistance. It's part of the Scuba collection, offering practical functionality while also being suited to diving, sports, and other outdoor activities. This practical diver's watch boasts water resistance for safe use at sea and outdoors. It's powered by the reliable Seiko 5H25 quartz movement. Its practical design prioritizes excellent visibility and durability. Despite its compact size, this sports quartz movement is packed with advanced features, including a rotating bezel and screw-down crown. The wide hands and indices, combined with the simple dial layout, create a highly visible design, highlighting the practical beauty of this diver's watch. The white dial layout, combined with the distinctive luminous indexes and three hands, makes this watch easy to read even in dark places, and is a cutting-edge design aesthetic of its time, making it a highly sought-after piece among vintage collectors. Crafted with a sturdy, durable stainless-steel case and original strap, this watch will withstand years of use. This is a rare mid-size model equipped with the 5H25 caliber, not the commonly available 7C series. Produced in the 1970s, its vintage feel and rarity make it difficult to obtain today, making it highly sought-after among collectors. The band material, finish, and dial color all further enhance its unique character, making it a highly sought-after piece among collectors.
