Masayuki Imai – Inlay Design Vase (Zōgan) With Original Wooden Box, Cloth, and Artist Seal This is a rare inlay-design vase created by Masayuki Imai (1930–2023), one of Japan’s most renowned contemporary ceramic artists. Imai was designated a Living National Treasure in 2002 for his mastery of “Iroe” (colored decoration). His work is highly regarded for its mathematically precise geometric patterns and innovative inlay (zōgan) techniques.
