A heavy Tsuri-Dourou (hanging temple lantern) dating from the showa period, estimated to be around 60-70 years old. Please take notice of the special features of the original lantern. This is a beautiful example of Japanese craftsmanship! Over the years, it has started to accumulate a rusty and dusty patina. Considering its age, this lantern has been preserved very well, it has no noticeable damages. The door opens smoothly and inside a candle can be placed. The door can be kept tightly shut with a spring that is connected on the inside. Dimensions without handle for hanging: 24 x 21 x 21 cm. Dimensions including handle for hanging: 28 x 21 x 21 cm.
