Mythical vineyard, known in the 19th century, then made famous at the end of the 1960s by Bruno Giacosa. Protected by the hills of Perno and Castelletto, it is kissed by the sun. The Massolinos purchased the first parcels in 1956. The vines, 30 years old on average, are rooted in marly and calcareous soils. Vigna Rionda expresses density and elegance, like this 2013 Riserva, over time. The solid texture becomes angelic, as if it were a superior being. Rarefied power in pure elegance.
