Japanischer Wandbehang – Roter Fuji & Kraniche – Showa-Zeit – Handgemalter Kakejiku - Japan - 21. Jahrhundert

A beautifully preserved Japanese kakejiku (hanging scroll) featuring a striking depiction of Red Fuji (Aka-Fuji) with three elegant cranes soaring above a traditional pine tree. This work was created during the late Showa to early Heisei period (approx. 1980s–1990s) and showcases refined Japanese painting techniques and harmonious coloration. The contrast of the vivid red Mt. Fuji against the soft mist, along with the symbolic cranes representing longevity and good fortune, makes this an exceptional piece for display in an alcove, interior space, or collection of classic Japanese art. Dimensions Overall: 187 cm (H) × 60 cm (W) Main artwork (Honshi): 103.5 cm (H) × 41 cm (W) Condition Based on close inspection of all provided photos: Main artwork (Honshi) Very light foxing in several areas (minor and unobtrusive). Mounting (Hyōgu) Small stains visible on the upper mounting fabric. Several faint stains on the reverse side. Wooden roller ends are clean and well-maintained. Aside from these age-related marks, the scroll remains overall clean, intact, and in very good vintage condition. Please refer to all photos for accurate details.
