A small bronze Kunstkammer figure of a warrior child Northern Europe, 17th century Depicting a nude child warrior standing confidently while leaning on a shield and holding a long spear in his right hand. With deeply modelled curly hair and a diagonally strapped sash across the torso. Rich, naturally aged patina with areas of casting porosity consistent with early bronze casting techniques. Likely intended as a cabinet object for a collector’s Kunstkammer. Mounted on a modern clear display base.
