Vintage 4-panel folding screen from Hong Kong, hand-painted with elegant lotus flowers and white egrets. Made circa 1960–1980, during the period when Hong Kong workshops produced high-quality export decorative pieces inspired by traditional Japanese and Chinese screen art. The screen is painted on a silk-textured fabric mounted on a wooden frame, with soft pastel tones, fine brushwork and a balanced composition. The lotus motif, combined with the graceful egrets, symbolizes purity, harmony and longevity – themes often used in East-Asian interior art. The piece is ideal as a room divider or as a decorative wall element.
