A robust early-type tool featuring a naturally rounded riverstone body with a clearly defined flint working zone showing multiple negative flake scars, a striking platform, and a shaped working edge suitable for heavy chopping or scraping use. The contrast between the smooth water-worn body and the sharp-edged flint sector suggests intentional selection and early utilitarian use. The tool fits naturally in the hand, with the flint sector positioned in a functional angle. This type of hybrid lithic tool is characteristic for early prehistoric toolkits, where natural stone shapes were enhanced by strategic flake removals to create an effective working edge.
