They are carved from animal bones, relatively flat, with sharp ends at the top and bottom, forming a plate-like jujube kernel shape. Generally, due to long-term contact with bronze artifacts, they often appear emerald green or light green when unearthed. They first appeared in the late Xia to early Shang period, more than 3,700 years ago. Cowrie coins were used until Emperor Qin Shi Huang unified the country and introduced minted coinage. Primitive currencies like cowrie coins were abolished, making them extremely rare ancient coins. This bone cowrie coin has a classic shape, sharp at both ends, with bone-style patterns in the middle and a hole piercing, plus the unearthed color is distinctly bronze green. The grade is as high as XF+, making it the highest-quality bone cowrie coin among those received this time. Collectors who are interested should not miss this piece. * Duty and taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer * Duty and taxes, if any, are the responsibility of the buyer *I don't accept a negative rating for the reason that a guest has to pay taxes to their own country, * For more information, please check the ACCA official website * If you are still bidding in the store, you can tell me to send it later. * For guests from Italy 、Netherlandsand Portugal, please note that it usually takes a long time for package delivery to Italy and Portugal, especially Netherlands,so please be patient or consider providing me with an address in another country Thank you and good luck!
