Incredible example from this classic find from Virgem da Lapa that produced these amazing zoned columnar lepidolites and extremely nice blue topaz (which unfortunately isn't present on this piece). This example is particularly remarkable for the level of preservation of the mica, with only one break where the purple core of the lepidolite is exposed, and by the fact that it is actually a floater, which probably played no small part in its level of preservation.
