Fabergé-Ei - Schatzkammer der Eier Satsuma Egg - Vergoldet, Porzellan
In 1886, Alexander II gave his wife a precious white-enamelled egg which, as a surprise, a ruby-eyed hen contained a golden egg yolk. From then on, these beautiful pieces were ordered from Faberge every year by the Tsar's house.
This very special egg was produced in cooperation with Franklin Mint. Crafted in glass technique (glass art, murano italy?). The stand is made of plastic. The beautyful egg is signed on the bottom with FM Franklin Mint.
