Waterman’s & Diplomat - Vintage Waterman’s & Diplomat pen with Iridium & 14 CT Gold nib point - Ohne mindestpreis - Füllfederhalter

Up for sale Waterman’s & Diplomat vintage pen with Iridium & 14 CT Gold nib point (size F & 2 A). Vintage Waterman’s Self-Filler? pen: On the nib is written ‘Waterman’s’, ‘14 CT’, ‘ENGLAND’ and ‘2 A’. I think the point of the nib is made of 14 Carat Gold as there is written on it. I guess it dates back from mid 20th century. There is also written on the pen ‘Waterman’s’ and ‘MADE IN ENGLAND’ I suppose that the pen works but I am not sure. Since I couldn’t test them because I don’t know much about it. The Waterman’s pen is used but in fairly good shape with signs of usage and wear as you see on the pictures. Vintage Diplomat Fountain? pen: On the nib is written ‘Diplomat’ and ‘Iridium Point’. I think the point of the nib is made of Iridium as there is written on it. I guess it dates back from after mid 20th century. There is a kind of serial number/type/model no written on the pen I think (21) I suppose that the pen works but I am not sure. Since I couldn’t test them because I don’t know much about it. The Diplomat pen is used but in fairly good shape with signs of usage and wear, except for the cap of the pen as you can see on the pictures the clip is missing there unfortunately. The iridium point at the nib is more solid and durable than gold, it will last longer I’d read on forums. Also iridium is now about €140 per gram and gold is much lesser than that. The iridium nib point makes the pen also more valuable. Please see pictures for more details about size and conditions to judge by yourself!
