Church's Witham – Luxury Black Silk Velvet Evening Slippers (New in Box)
The Church's Witham is a pinnacle of evening footwear, designed for the most prestigious black-tie events. Crafted with a slender silhouette and high-end materials, these slippers represent the ultimate in British luxury and formal elegance.

Key Features:
Deep Black Silk Velvet: The upper is entirely crafted from a rich, light-catching black silk velvet, perfect for gala dinners or tuxedo ensembles.

Grosgrain Bow Detail: Features a distinctive flat grosgrain (ribbed silk) bow on the front, adding a classic touch of texture and formality.

Quilted Satin Lining: The interior boasts a luxurious quilted satin lining, providing exceptional comfort while nodding to the noble tradition of house shoes.

Golden Branding: The prestigious Church’s logo is embossed in gold on the insole, a hallmark of authentic English craftsmanship.

Fine Leather Sole: Equipped with a slim, flexible leather sole designed for elegance and grace on formal floors.

Condition & Packaging:
Condition: Brand New / Never Worn.

Original Box: Includes the institutional Church’s box for optimal preservation.

Dust Bags: Comes with soft cotton dust bags to protect the delicate velvet.

Sizing Advice:
As a "slip-on" formal model, the fit of the Witham differs slightly from standard leather lace-ups:

Sleek Fit: To ensure the heel stays secure while walking, it is recommended to stick to your usual Church’s UK size. If you are between sizes, consider going half a size down to prevent slipping.

Adaptability: Unlike leather, velvet does not stretch significantly; therefore, the fit should feel comfortably snug from the very first wear.

Style Tip:
While the Witham is the natural companion for a tuxedo, it also excels in a "New Dandy" look. Pair them with tailored black ankle-length trousers and a contrasting velvet dinner jacket (such as burgundy or midnight blue) for a sophisticated, modern statement.
