Estampe originale d’abstraction géométrique réalisée vers 1965–1980 par Wolf Barth (1926–2010), artiste actif dans le champ de l’art abstrait européen de la seconde moitié du XXᵉ siècle.
La composition présente une structure rigoureuse de formes géométriques imbriquées, imprimées en aplats de couleurs superposées, avec de légers décalages d’enregistrement visibles. Ces caractéristiques sont typiques d’un travail de sérigraphie / pochoir d’atelier, impliquant plusieurs passages successifs de couleur.
L’œuvre est signée au crayon “Barth” et numérotée 6/75 (inscription manuscrite au verso), indiquant un tirage limité à 75 exemplaires, élément important pour les collectionneurs d’estampes.
Le tirage a été réalisé sur papier Arches (France), identifiable par son filigrane “ARCHES” accompagné du symbole de l’infini (∞), papier d’édition d’art de référence, largement utilisé entre les années 1950 et 1980.
Le grand format (env. 75,5 × 56cm) est peu courant pour une estampe de cette période et souligne une production ambitieuse et professionnelle.
