"V#02" fa parte di un progetto di ricerca sull'intimità e il femminino che l'autore porta avanti da 10 anni. Una parte del lavoro è stato pubblicato nei progetti "Bold Body" e "Lines", stampati in formato booklet e a tiratura limitata.

Emiliano Picciolo si è diplomato in Fotografia e Graphic Design presso un Liceo Artistico, iniziando la sua carriera specializzandosi nella fotografia di ritratto e nello still-life commerciale.
Nel 2019 ha ricevuto una menzione speciale al concorso europeo PhotoVue (tenutosi nei Paesi Bassi e promosso da BenQ) per il suo lavoro di ritratto, un riconoscimento che ha evidenziato la sua raffinata visione artistica.
La sua ricerca si concentra sul nudo artistico, un genere che definisce “humanscape photography”.
Il suo lavoro si distingue per una particolare attenzione ai contrasti e al dialogo tra pieni e vuoti, creando geometrie e punti luce modellati dalla luce naturale — sua principale fonte di ispirazione e oggetto di studio nella quotidianità. Predilige il bianco e nero e integra tecniche digitali e analogiche per dare forma alla propria visione.
Nel 2021 ha fondato Mellor’s Studio, un laboratorio di arti visive, dove ha sviluppato progetti commerciali e presentato le proprie opere in una mostra permanente. Parallelamente all’attività professionale, Emiliano è profondamente impegnato nell’ambito della formazione, insegnando regolarmente fotografia, editing e tecniche di stampa fine-art.
