Een van de typische Britse sportwagens uit de jaren vijftig en zestig is de Austin-Healey 3000 – bijgenaamd de ‘Big Healey’ vanwege grote drieliter-zes-in-lijn-motoren. De 3000 serie bleef voor het oog vrijwel onveranderd ten opzichte van de vorige Healeys, maar hadden betere prestaties en waren luxer uitgevoerd. 

De 3000 MKII BT7 heeft vier zitplaatsen en heeft 3 in plaats van 2 carburateurs op de motor voor nog betere prestaties. De overgrote meerderheid van de BT7's werden vanaf fabriek naar Noord-Amerika geëxporteerd.

Dit betreft één van de slechts 5.096 geproduceerde uit de MKII BT7 serie, ook wel BT7 Tri Carb vanwege de 3 carburateurs genoemd. 

Deze auto werd in 1961 nieuw in Canada geleverd en na een leven in Canada weer terug naar Europa gebracht om daar professioneel gerestaureerd te worden volgens de originele specificaties. 

De restauratie is voltooid in 2022. Sindsdien is er circa 1.000 km probleemloos met de auto gereden. De auto is zo goed als nieuw; carrosserie, plaatwerk, lak en interieur zijn in zeer goede staat. De auto heeft een matching motornummer en matching originele lak- en interieurkleur. 

De auto wordt geleverd met schermen voor op de deuren, een soft- en originele hardtop en een reservewiel en is voorzien van een RVS uitlaat, spaakwielen en lederen stoelbekleding.

Een fotorapportage van de restauratie en een erfgoedcertificaat worden bij de auto geleverd.

De auto heeft een Nederlands kenteken en kan in Nieuwegein, Nederland worden bezichtigd en opgehaald.

Dit betreft een particuliere verkoop. De auto wordt verkocht zonder garantie, de kilometerstand is afgelezen van de snelheidsmeter en de auto wordt verkocht in de staat zoals het nu is en waar het nu is.
