Riproduzione Hydria / Kalpis a Figure Nere – Stile Greco Arcaico
Dimensioni: ca. 25 × 17 × 15 cm

Elegante hydria (o kalpis) in terracotta, decorata a figure nere , ispirata alle ceramiche dell’epoca arcaica greca (VI-V secolo a.C.). Il vaso presenta una scena figurata con personaggi mitologici, tipica della tradizione attica, realizzata con fine tratto e dettagli puntinati. Sul retro compaiono motivi vegetali e spirali stilizzate.

Il corpo globulare, il collo svasato con fregio a meandro e le tre anse (due orizzontali e una verticale) ne evidenziano la forma classica utilizzata per il trasporto dell’acqua. La superficie mostra una gradevole patina antica e segni del tempo coerenti con l’età del manufatto.

Unique Objects

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
