Beschreibung:

Diese seltene Holz-Querflöte stammt aus der Werkstatt von Carl Schreiber, einem bedeutenden Instrumentenbauer aus Markneukirchen, Sachsen – dem historischen Zentrum des deutschen Musikinstrumentenbaus. Die Gravur auf dem Korpus zeigt:

Die Seriennummer 834 weist auf eine sehr frühe Produktion hin und macht dieses Instrument zu einem wertvollen Zeugnis deutscher Handwerkskunst aus der Zeit um 1910–1920. Holz-Querflöten aus dieser Ära sind heute äußerst rar und bei Sammlern, Musikethnologen sowie Musikern historischer Aufführungspraxis sehr gefragt.

Zustand:

Das Instrument ist vollständig und in für das Alter gutem Zustand. Die Mechanik ist erhalten, jedoch ist eine fachgerechte Generalüberholung (Polster, Dichtung, Justierung) empfohlen, um die Flöte wieder voll spielfähig zu machen. Keine sichtbaren Risse oder Brüche am Oberfläche im Holz, das Stück ist aber ganz. Oberfläche mit schöner, natürlicher Alterspatina.
