An exceptionally rare SitStik — a seat cane (walking stick with fold-out seat) designed by Henrik Skarland and produced by Møre Lenestolfabrikk, Ørsta (Norway), later known as Fora Form.

This model was created for the Copenhagen Furniture Fair in 1985, received the prestigious Award for Design Excellence (Merket for god design) award in 1986, and was subsequently acquired by the Nordenfjeldske Kunstindustrimuseum for its permanent collection.
SitStik was also exhibited internationally — in Oslo, Gothenburg, Chicago, and Milan — as a representative of Norwegian modern functional design.

Design & Function

The SitStik combines minimalist Scandinavian craftsmanship with ergonomic ingenuity.
A circular seat disc pivots from vertical (walking mode) to horizontal (seating mode) with a distinct mechanical click.
The original brochure described two postures — side-sitting and front-sitting — emphasizing balance and proper leg positioning.
Maximum weight capacity: 90 kg.

•	Seat diameter: 20 cm
•	Handle diameter: 5.8 cm

Condition: Very good vintage condition with light surface marks and minor wear consistent with age; fully functional click-mechanism.
A museum-documented Norwegian design classic — rarely seen on the market.
