Mis je kans niet want deze motor is een zeer bijzonder object met een blok- en het framenummer 000007. 

Het gaat om een prototype uit 1982 die destijds door de RDW is gebruikt voor de typegoedkeuring. Hij zou vervolgens terug worden verscheept naar Japan ter vernietiging maar werd gered door een liefhebber. Vanaf 1985 is XJ 900 officieel verkrijgbaar in Nederland, wij zijn de tweede eigenaar. Kilometerstand 24187.

Deze geweldige motor staat op splinternieuwe Michelin Pilot Sport banden ter waarde van minstens 500 euro. Hij is uitgerust met een leren zadel, stalen remleidingen, gepolijste voorvork. Een breed stuur in combinatie met een trekhaak voor een aanhanger zorgt voor meer toerplezier. Daarnaast is er een kofferset aanwezig met de originele bevestigingsset voor de koffers waardoor de trekhaak eraf kan, en de originele handgreep voor wanneer er helemaal geen koffers nodig zijn. De accu is begin dit jaar vervangen, cardanolie is ververst.

Deze nette klassieker start, loopt en schakelt als een nieuwe en heeft een bijzonder frisse uitstraling. 

Een fantastisch stuk Yamaha geschiedenis waarop zijn eigenaar trots mag zijn.
