Este cuadro representa un paisaje rural lleno de calma y belleza natural, donde la vida del campo se muestra en perfecta armonía con su entorno. En el centro de la composición, se observan varias casas de tejados rojizos y muros claros, agrupadas entre árboles verdes y arbustos que parecen protegerlas del paso del tiempo. El horizonte se abre hacia unas montañas que, suavemente difuminadas por la neblina, aportan una sensación de profundidad y serenidad al conjunto. La atmósfera es limpia y fresca, como una mañana luminosa en la que el aire huele a tierra y a flores. Cada elemento está dispuesto con equilibrio, guiando la mirada del espectador desde el primer plano hasta el cielo infinito que cubre la escena.
El primer plano del cuadro está cubierto por un campo de flores rojas que arde en color y vitalidad. Este manto floral, que se extiende como una alfombra encendida, contrasta con los tonos verdes de la vegetación y con el gris azulado de las montañas del fondo. Las casas rurales, con sus techos de tejas envejecidas y sus muros cálidos, evocan la sencillez de la vida en el campo. Son construcciones que parecen haberse levantado con paciencia, integradas en el paisaje como si siempre hubieran estado ahí. Entre ellas crecen árboles frondosos que filtran la luz, creando sombras que aportan profundidad al conjunto.
