Ce document présente une analyse préliminaire d’un livre japonais ancien partagé en photo. D’après les indices visibles (papier, écriture, cartouche de date), il s’agit probablement d’un manuscrit religieux bouddhique daté du XVI■ siècle.
1. Matériel et fabrication
- Le livre est relié en style fukuro-toji (reliure à poche), assez répandu à partir de la fin du XVI■ siècle.
- Le papier est du washi (papier japonais traditionnel), fibreux et épais, avec des traces d’usure importantes.
- L’encre noire utilisée est typique des manuscrits ou impressions anciennes.
2. Écriture et contenu
- Le texte est rédigé en style cursif japonais (s■sho ■■), rendant la lecture complexe même pour des spécialistes modernes.
- La mise en page est en colonnes verticales, traditionnelle pour les textes bouddhiques.
- Le contenu semble être de nature religieuse, probablement un sutra ou un texte rituel.
3. Datation
Dans un cartouche visible à l’intérieur du livre, on distingue clairement l’ère Tenmon (■■), qui s’étend de 1532 à 1555. L’indication précise renvoie à l’année Tenmon 26, correspondant à 1557 (l’ère ayant été prolongée dans l’usage). Cela confirme que l’ouvrage date bien du XVI■ siècle, en pleine période Muromachi.
