1990 VOLVO 740 from one owner, in very good condition, with a very complete history and 169,000 kilometres on the clock.

This vehicle was delivered to Madrid on 3 July 1990. It was a car used for trips (Denia, Portugal...) as its owner tells us, 
In its service history, everything is sealed in Volvo up to 2006. From that date on, all services have been carried out in multi-brand workshops. Some of the invoices have been recovered (see photos).

The car has always been in the same family to this day. You can see from its mileage and condition that it is a car that has been taken care of.

Due to the death of the father, the car was parked on the street and unused since 2018. During that period, the car was scratched by a truck on the left side at the height of the C-pillar (see photos). At that moment, it was decided to keep it until today when it was repaired.


It is has a valid MOT which it recently passed, with no serious defects, after minimal tuning since the car is in good condition, the oil, steering fluid, windscreen wiper and support for the gearbox have been changed.

After several days of dynamic testing, few defects are visible, the car has power, the clutch and gearbox are precise, including in 5th gear or overdrive. The suspension works correctly as do its brakes. As does the electrical system for the electric windows
Everything works perfectly, including the lights.

The condition of the paint is good apart from some imperfections, but nothing out of the ordinary given that most of the paint is original, except for the rear door on the right side, which, as you can see in the photos, has been tested with a paint thickness gauge.


This is a very rare vehicle to find in this condition, since these cars were widely used for their comfort and reliability.  Although this car is in good condition, we have to remember that it is 33 years old and that everything can be improved. The pending works are the speedometer and odometer which have stopped working recently. The speedometer sometimes works, the fuel gauge is not reliable which is a common problem in this model, the heated seats do not work. Finally, the car drives well except for the tyres that have lost their shape while having stood still, and some silent blocks are no longer at their best. The fuel pump works, but it makes a noise while running. The passenger mirror is cracked.

This car has been inspected by WISYC, a company dedicated to vehicle inspection.
