Bardzo rzadka,poszukiwana przez kolekcjonerów,piękna muszla z operculum Lambis Digitata-Ophioglossolambis digitata to gatunek ślimaka morskiego, ślimaka morskiego z rodziny Strombidae, prawdziwych muszli.
  Na świecie występuje wiele gatunków muszli pająkowatych, z których każdy ma swoje charakterystyczne cechy. Gatunek Lambis digitata należy do gatunków o bogatszym wyglądzie. Choć znalezienie okazu jest raczej rzadkim wydarzeniem, cieszy się on dość szerokim zasięgiem występowania, występując od Afryki po Wyspy Samoańskie. 
   Poza różnorodnymi ubarwieniami w odcieniach beżu, kremu i brązu, tę piękną muszlę można odróżnić od jej kuzynów z rodzaju Lambis po dwóch cechach. Po pierwsze, powierzchnia otworu jest żebrowana. Inne gatunki mają gładki otwór. Żebra otworu są zazwyczaj dwukolorowe z białymi szczytami i ciemnobrązowymi dolinami. Po drugie, jest to jedyny gatunek Lambis, który ma rozgałęziony pierwszy „palec”.
 Wymiary-40/60/135mm.Gorąco polecam kolekcjonerom bardzo rzadkich muszli.
