Beschreibung:
Eine äußerst seltene und symbolträchtige antike Fibel aus Bronzelegierung, verziert mit einem Einsatz aus blauer Glaspaste in Form des Auges des Horus (Wedjat) – ein Symbol für Schutz, Kraft, Gesundheit und Erneuerung im alten Ägypten. Solche Objekte wurden insbesondere in der hellenistischen und römischen Zeit geschätzt, als ägyptische religiöse und schützende Symbole in die gesamte Mittelmeerwelt vordrangen.

Die Fibel weist eine charakteristisch stilisierte Form auf, deren Details an das 1. bis 3. Jahrhundert n. Chr. erinnern, und ist somit ein wertvolles Sammlerstück der Spätantike. wurde vom jetzigen Besitzer am 16.06.2023 in Frankfurt, Deutschland, von einer Person namens F-H auf der Archäologiemesse erworben. Deutsche Privatsammlung im Besitz von Herrn Hock erworben aus einer 1997 gegründeten Privatsammlung. Der Verkäufer garantiert, dass dieses Stück in Übereinstimmung mit allen nationalen und internationalen Gesetzen zum Eigentum an Kulturgütern erworben wurde.
