The Nissan Figaro is a small car produced by the Japanese car manufacturer Nissan since 1991. The lines, by designer Naoki Sakai assisted by Shoji Takahashi, were inspired by some of the classic compact cars of the past.
These features, combined with the rich chrome detailing on the body, give the Figaro a distinctive and elegant look. Four colours were available: Topaz Mist, Emerald Green, Pale Aqua and Lapis Grey. Each colour symbolised a season of the year. The Figaro was based on the mechanics of the first series three-door Micra. The engine was the same 987cc inline four-cylinder, but turbocharged, producing 75 hp and paired with an automatic gearbox.

The Figaro was sold almost entirely on the basis of lottery, as the number of orders far exceeded the number of cars available. Standard equipment included ABS, alloy wheels, air conditioning, radio with CD player, leather seats and matching floor mats.

The car on auction was purchased in England and imported from Japan. It has covered only 88,000 km since it was built and still has all its original and unique parts.

The bodywork is in the original colour and has just been polished by a professional. It is in excellent condition, just like the chrome and the details, which show only minor signs of normal use;

Mechanically, it has just undergone a complete overhaul and runs very well, a real pleasure to drive;

The leather interior has just been cleaned and serviced and looks great. The soft top is new and smoothly opens and closes, preventing water from entering the interior.

The underbody is solid and original and does not require any work.

This Figaro is fully documented, has been duly imported with customs clearance and can be registered without any additional tax in Europe. It is increasingly difficult to find these low-mileage, solid and original collector cars, and they are becoming an ever-increasing investment as time goes by.

Some videos of the car, engine and road driving are available. A high-resolution photo gallery is also available and is part of this description on the seller’s website. Please ask Catawiki.

We can arrange the transfer of ownership or export documents remotely. Affordable shipping to Italy, Europe and the rest of the world. You can also conveniently pick up the car on site, as it can stay at our storage facility for 15 days free of charge.

We recommend viewing the vehicle before the end of the auction, even via a video call on your smartphone (WhatsApp, FaceTime). Please send a message to Catawiki for an appointment. The seller reserves the right to claim compensation if the buyer does not pay for the purchase, which is automatically concluded after the winning bid is established and obliges the buyer to make the payment, as per the sales contract available on the seller’s website.
