A blue and white moonflask in Yongle-style.
From a private collection. Of flattened circular form with a pair of handles to the neck, the moonflask is decorated in underglaze cobalt blue. The front is painted with a lush bouquet of lotus and scrolling floral motifs, executed with fluid lines and refined brushwork. The reverse is adorned with flowering branches within a geometric border, while the neck and shoulders are decorated with scrolling patterns. The design is harmonious and elegant, with a strong imperial taste.

The base is unglazed, showing the fine and dense body beneath the smooth glaze. The piece is preserved in very good condition, with no visible signs of restoration. The item will be carefully and securely packed, and dispatched through a reliable and efficient courier service.

Occasionally, two different bidders may show up in the bidding history with the same bid amount. This occurs when one user's bid is exactly the same as an automatic (maximum) bid placed by another user earlier. Since the auto-bid was placed first, this takes preference. The bidding history will show both bids, with the auto-bid ranked as the higher of the two.
