Impressionist painting by the German painter Paul Röder (1897 - 1962). It is painted in the Southern German Priental Valley (in chiemgau). Paul Röder was a war volunteer during World War I. He came from an artist family and studied painting at Kunstakademie Dusseldorf and worked in France, Switzerland and Austria. In Marktoberdorf (Ger) a museum of the same name is dedicated to Paul Röder.

Notes on the back are probably from Paul Röder himself. The work comes from an estate.

On the back are slight damage marks of the nails with which it is secured in the frame.
