Seltene, antike, russische Dreifelder-Ikone mit "Kreuzigung Jesu, Gottesmutter von Arabien und weiteren Heiligen" und zwei Randheiligen (u.a. mit dem Schutzengel) aus dem 19. Jahrhundert (um 1880).

Handgemalt mit Eitemperafarben auf einer Holztafel mit Kreidegrund.

Typische Methode der Ikonenherstellung im 18. und 19. Jahrhundert in Zarenrussland. Die Motive sind eher selten und sehr beliebt in der orthodoxen Kirche.

Hierbei handelt es sich um eine Altgläubiger-Ikone, die wohl im Auftrag angefertigt wurde. Die Malerei ist ziemlich meisterhaft und detailliert ausgeführt (siehe Fotos).

Perfekt aufeinander abgestimmte Farbkontraste und gelungene Schattierungen. Die Malerei enthält sehr authentische Krakeelen (siehe Fotos).

Partielle Restaurierungen sind vorhanden (siehe Fotos). Besonders ausdrucksstark und auffällig sind die Gesichter der Heiligen (siehe Fotos). Die Heiligen sind beschriftet. Die Beschriftungen sind zum Teil schlecht lesbar.

Auf der Rückseite sind beide Quersponkas angebracht. Stabile und solide Holztafel. Die Ikone befindet sich in einem guten Zustand mit typischen altersbedingten Gebrauchsspuren (siehe Fotos). Die Rückseite der Ikone enthält relativ viele Löcher vom Holzkäfer im Holz. Der Holzkäfer ist wohl noch aktiv. 

Eine Ikone für Sammler und Kenner der Materie.
