Bijzonder handgemaakt borduurwerk / punch-needle wandstuk uit 1932. Voorstelling van een hond in een decoratieve bloemenkrans. Onderaan gesigneerd met de initialen J.B.S. en het jaartal 1932.

De hond is gemaakt met opgelegde wol, wat een mooi licht reliëf (3D-effect) geeft. Het geheel zit in een oude sierlijst achter glas.

Waarschijnlijk afkomstig uit Nederland of Duitsland en gemaakt als persoonlijk handwerkstuk uit de jaren 30. Zulke stukken met datum en initialen worden vaak gezien als charmante folk-art en zijn tegenwoordig minder vaak te vinden.

Bijna 100 jaar oud en een decoratief vintage object voor liefhebbers van oud textiel, folk art of landelijke decoratie.
