The proceeds from the sale of this lot are entirely in support of LILT (Lega Italiana per la Lotta contro i Tumori) which put it up for auction.

Landscape by Roberto Bianchetti, known by critics as the “painter of woods”. 

The trees, like silhouettes against the light, are against a purple yellow background.

Canvas preserved in good condition, back part in fair condition.

In Bianchetti’s works his love for nature is often combined with an accurate rendering of impressionist features.
Reality is transfigured in a lyrical, magical, suspended way.

The work will be shipped mounted on a stretcher, without frame.
