Very pretty cracked sculpture designed and made by Louis Fontinelle.
Louis Fontinelle (earthenware maker and ceramicist) moved to Marine (Paris region) in 1927 where he opened his third ceramics workshop. It is from this date that he will produce his famous "cracked". He is the one who draws and produces. His clients include Parisian department stores.
In the 1920s, in an aesthetic purpose, cracks (cracked) are obtained thanks to a thermal shock, dipping pieces in cold water right out of the oven.

These 3 squirrels are in perfect condition.
Their colour is off-white.
