Esta pieza, pertenece a una serie basada en retratos y figuras que se esconden o emergen de un fondo empastado de color que he llamado: "Personajes ocultos". Intento una búsqueda de lo interno y fundamental del motivo y de paso de mi propia persona, simbolizada a través del desgarre del color y el uso de los empastes gestuales.
Para esta obra en particular intenté expresar también la sensualidad de la modelo.
Me gusta la libertad que me ofrece el tratamiento de la pintura, con elementos figurativos y abstractos, que se complementan y donde la textura que utilizo en el rostro, que es personal, se manifiesta enriqueciendo el conjunto de la obra y haciéndola a mi parecer mucho mas potente y dinámica.

IMPORTANTE: Esta obra, por tratarse de un gran formato, (120x100 cm), para su propia protección, se envía sin bastidor, enrollada dentro de un tubo.

Exposiciones:
Durante su larga permanencia en Venezuela, (40 años), expuso individual y colectivamente en numerosas galerías, incluyendo la suya propia: Galería de Arte Pórtico que tenía su sede en el Aeropuerto Internacional José Tadeo Monagas de la ciudad de Maturín, en el Estado Monagas.
Regresa a España en el 2018.
Durante los últimos 7 años a participado en colectivas en Madrid, Barcelona y Melilla.

2004, Seleccionado para representar al Edo. Monagas en Arte Venezolano del siglo XXI, Segunda Mega exposición, Museo de Arte Jacobo Borges de Caracas.
