Very unique and original unrestored Austin 1100 MKII from 20-06-1969.

This Austin Glider (ADO16) has been standing in a dry indoor space since circa 1989, in a private collection. The owner, a former British Leyland dealer, traded the car in and included it in this collection. The Austin was originally delivered in the Netherlands and has had only 1 owner in the province of Zeeland, namely a general practitioner from Goes. 

The Austin was sold new in 's-Heer Arendskerke, a stone's throw from Goes. The Austin has 39493 km on the odometer, and those are (for 99% certainty) original! The interior is therefore in a mint condition. Almost, because, among other things, 1 button has worn over time and the chrome door strip is somewhat distorted. But the upholstery, the mats, and the headlining are all in a super neat original condition. As extras, the Austin has a temperature gauge and the optional wooden dashboard.

The bodywork is in very solid condition for a 1100. Please see the photos for this. Of course, it has a bubble and dent here and there, but where it has to be solid, it is solid! The bottom, ‘paravan’, inner screens, trunk bottom, the bottoms of the doors, all are hard. There is 1 small hole in the sill on the right. The original mirror is in the car, the fastening spring has broken off. 
 
After all these years of being parked inside, the Austin has been made roadworthy again. The hydrolastic suspension is nicely pressurized, with fresh gasoline and a new battery, the 1100 runs like a charm again. The clutch and brakes still work, even after all these years. It is clear that the Glider needs a serious major maintenance service.

In terms of the electric, everything is working. Windshield wipers, washer, electric fuel pump, lighting, heater motor, everything functions properly. 
This Austin has an original Dutch set of registration documents. This concerns an old paper registration certificate that presently has an inactive status (dormant). The registration certificate is entirely complete with all 3 parts.
