Dit object is een letterzetterslade, ook wel bekend als een drukkerijlade of letterbak. Het wordt traditioneel gebruikt in de typografie om loden letters en spaties in op te bergen voor handmatig zetten van tekst. 

* Indeling:  De lade heeft een karakteristieke indeling met veel verschillende vakjes van diverse afmetingen, ontworpen om de verschillende karakters (letters, cijfers, leestekens) en spaties gesorteerd te houden.
* De letterbak is zowel horizontaal als verticaal te gebruiken en op te hangen.
* De letterbak is 53 bij 83 centimeter.
* De letterbak is gemaakt van hout. 
* De letterbak is gemaakt rond 1920 van beukenhout.    

Deze prachtige letterbak is voorzien van twee mooie antieke grepen met de letters L.A. Daarnaast heeft de letterbak nog twee greepjes om de bak eventueel andersom te hangen. Ook zit er een mooie gleuf tussen de antieke grepen in.
