Based in Malaga,Spain , Villafuerte is largely self-taught, having transitioned to a full-time artistic career in 2000 after earning a BA in Human Resource Management from De la Salle-College of Saint Benilde in 1997 and some credits in accountancy and business management at San Beda College .

His work, exhibited in solo and group shows across the globe, is renowned for its spontaneous freedom, textured layers, and explosive use of color, inviting viewers on an experiential journey through the depths of the human spirit .

In this collection, Villafuerte delves into the profound theme of life’s perpetual rhythms—moments of quiet repose giving way to vibrant rebirth.
