Dési van Rhee

Opera in marmo bianco di Carrara di straordinaria eleganza, un perfetto esempio di gusto neoclassico che richiama i fasti delle grandi dimore europee del XVIII e XIX secolo.
Il vaso è un'urna monumentale con coperchio, caratterizzata da una struttura a d’ispirazione greco-romana. Lo stile è puramente Neoclassico (stile Luigi XVI o Impero).
Decorato con una fascia centrale a bassorilievo raffigurante ghirlande di frutta e conchiglie. Nella parte inferiore presenta una greca e foglie d'acanto a sbalzo
I manici sono la parte più distintiva, decorate con un bifronte di due figure mitologiche sorrette da teste di cinghiale.
Il coperchio presenta una decorazione a baccellatura e termina con un pomolo a forma di pigna.

Il vaso apparteneva a una famiglia nobiliare e si trovava nella villa nella penisola di Saint-Jean-Cap-Ferrat, acquistato nel 1965 e trasportato in Italia ora parte della collezione di famiglia. 

Verrà spedito e imballato in cassa di legno per evitare alcun tipo di danno durante la spedizione.
