Decoratieve bronzen armillarium zonnewijzer met Atlas figuur.

Dit bijzondere sculpturale object combineert klassieke mythologie met astronomische instrumenten. Het beeld toont een krachtige Atlas-achtige figuur die een armillarium (astronomische zonnewijzer) draagt.

De armillarium bestaat uit meerdere ringen van brons, messing en koper met gravures en Romeinse cijfers. De verschillende metalen en de natuurlijke patina geven het object een rijke en klassieke uitstraling.

Armillaria werden historisch gebruikt om de beweging van hemellichamen en de positie van de zon te visualiseren. Tegenwoordig zijn ze geliefd als decoratieve objecten met een wetenschappelijke en klassieke uitstraling.

Het object vormt een indrukwekkend decoratief element voor zowel interieur, serre of tuin.

Conditie: zeer goede staat met natuurlijke patina passend bij het materiaal.

De natuurstenen zuil is niet inbegrepen.
