Antieke Naturalistische Tabakspot – Boomstronkontwerp – 1938

Ter veiling aangeboden: een karakteristieke en zeldzame keramieken tabakspot uit 1938. Deze pot is uitgevoerd in een uitgesproken naturalistische stijl, waarbij een verweerde boomstronk tot in detail is nagebootst.
Het object valt op door zijn rijke textuur, compleet met knoesten en jaarringen die doen denken aan het vakmanschap van Vlaams aardewerk of rustieke volkskunst uit de vroege 20e eeuw. De organische vormgeving en het aardse kleurpalet maken dit niet alleen tot een verzamelobject voor tabacofielen, maar ook tot een krachtig decoratief stuk in een modern of Wabi-Sabi interieur.
