Dit object is een Kukri (of Khukuri), het traditionele mes van de Gurkha's uit Nepal. Het is herkenbaar aan zijn karakteristieke naar binnen gebogen lemmet en wordt zowel als wapen als multifunctioneel gereedschap gebruikt.
Dit type mes is diep geworteld in de Nepalese identiteit en geschiedenis. Hoewel het beroemd is geworden door het gebruik door Gurkha-soldaten, wordt het in Nepal dagelijks gebruikt voor werkzaamheden op het land, zoals het hakken van hout, het slachten van dieren of als keukenmes. 
Vaak wordt een Kukri geleverd in een houten schede die met leer is bekleed. Soms bevat deze schede ook twee kleinere mesjes: de Karda (voor klein snijwerk) en de Chakmak (om het mes te slijpen of vuur te maken)

Mesgewicht zonder schede: 314 gr
Het mes bevindt zich in een zeer goede staat, minimale opslagsporen.
Het lemmet is aan beide zijden decoratief gegraveerd.
De kling is onberispelijk zonder schaafwonden of barsten.
Die houten schede is eveneens zeer goed bewaard gebleven.
Het handvat is gemaakt van hoorn en been.
Full-tang uitvoering.
