A striking and highly decorative Space Age “Eyeball / Saturn” lamp, dating from the 1970s design period and inspired by Italian futuristic lighting of the era.
The lamp features a bold spherical spotlight (“eyeball”) suspended within a circular ring (“Saturn”), creating a dynamic orbital structure that allows directional adjustment of the light. This iconic configuration is one of the most recognizable forms of Space Age lighting design.
The combination of deep blue lacquered metal and polished chrome reflector enhances its strong visual identity, reflecting the aesthetic language of Italian design from the late 1960s to mid-1970s.
