Sfera ricavata da un quarzo ematoide naturale di rara intensità, caratterizzato da una struttura complessa e fortemente materica, in cui la crescita del quarzo è stata accompagnata da diffuse inclusioni ferrifere e da successive fasi idrotermali. Il risultato è un campione di grande profondità visiva, dove zone chiare e traslucide convivono con aree più scure e compatte, creando un equilibrio cromatico deciso ma armonico. Il quarzo si presenta in tonalità lattiginose e grigio-perlacee, attraversate da un reticolo di fratture naturali e venature cicatrizzate che segmentano il volume in clasti irregolari. All’interno di questa struttura, l’ematite finemente dispersa conferisce le tipiche colorazioni calde del quarzo ematoide, con passaggi che vanno dal giallo dorato all’ocra intenso, fino a sfumature arancio e bruno-ruggine. Le inclusioni di pirite compaiono come punteggiature e aggregati irregolari di aspetto metallico concentrati lungo piani di frattura e zone di contatto tra i diversi clasti di quarzo. In alcuni punti risultano compatte e ben definite, in altri più frammentate, suggerendo una deposizione avvenuta in più fasi. La loro presenza arricchisce ulteriormente la lettura geologica del campione, testimoniando una circolazione di fluidi idrotermali ricchi in ferro e zolfo. L’insieme restituisce un aspetto robusto, dinamico e autenticamente geologico, in cui ogni angolazione rivela nuovi dettagli e variazioni cromatiche.
