Montegrappa Ernest Hemingway Limited Edition – Complete Collection (4 Fountain Pens, Silver, Prototype Set)

A rare and prestigious complete set of Montegrappa’s Ernest Hemingway Collection, created to honor four defining aspects of the writer’s extraordinary life: The Soldier, The Writer, The Fisherman, and The Traveller.

Unlike the regular editions, which were limited to 100 pieces worldwide in sterling silver, this set is a PROTOTYPE, making it unique and exceptionally rare. As prototypes, these pens bear no limitation number, placing them outside the standard production run and elevating their exclusivity for serious collectors.

Each fountain pen is crafted from precious celluloid with finely detailed sterling silver trims and fitted with an 18K gold nib. The designs reflect Hemingway’s life story:

The Soldier (Bamboo Black) recalls his WWI service in Bassano del Grappa, with engravings of the Red Cross ambulance, Ponte degli Alpini, and military insignia.

The Writer (Turtle Brown) celebrates his literary legacy, featuring a bas-relief of his typewriter and symbols of his Pulitzer and Nobel achievements.

The Fisherman (Mediterranean Blue) pays tribute to his passion for the sea, decorated with marlin motifs inspired by The Old Man and the Sea.

The Traveller (Charcoal Black) embodies his adventurous spirit, with engravings of maps, airplanes, and a compass tracing his global journeys.

Presented in special cases inspired by WWI-era reporter notebooks, this collection unites history, literature, and Italian artistry.
