Splendido ed autentico esemplare di tessuto Kuba, identificabile come una gonna cerimoniale femminile (Ntshak), originario della regione del Kasai nella Repubblica Democratica del Congo. Questo pezzo è un capolavoro di geometria astratta, tipico dell'etnia Bushoong.
Tecnica e Materiali: Il tessuto è interamente realizzato a mano utilizzando fibre di palma rafia. La base è tessuta su telai verticali dagli uomini e successivamente decorata dalle donne con complessi ricami e applicazioni di tessuto nero ottenuti con pigmenti naturali organici.
Design: Il motivo presenta il classico schema "a griglia" Kuba, arricchito da simboli geometrici che variano lungo tutto il pannello. Questi disegni non sono solo estetici, ma rappresentano lo status sociale e l'identità del proprietario.
Stato di Conservazione: Il tessuto si presenta in ottime condizioni vintage. La fibra ha acquisito una splendida patina dorata tipica del tempo. Sono presenti i caratteristici bordi ondulati e rifiniti a mano, segno di autenticità e uso cerimoniale (non una riproduzione moderna per turisti).
