Alfredo Orio, pittore espressionista lombardo, è stato una figura centrale nel panorama artistico italiano del XX secolo. Nato a Cremona nel 1911, Orio ha esplorato temi di grande intensità emotiva e visiva attraverso un linguaggio artistico che lo ha collocato tra i protagonisti dell’arte espressionista italiana. La sua carriera, purtroppo non ampiamente documentata, ha però lasciato tracce indelebili, con opere che oggi si trovano in collezioni prestigiose e che continuano a suscitare interesse.
