Creedite – Navidad, Durango, Mexico
An exclusive collector’s specimen of the rare mineral creedite from the legendary Navidad locality in the Mexican state of Durango. This exceptional druse is composed of rich, radiating aggregates of crystals in attractive honey-yellow to golden hues.
The crystals are unusually large for creedite, well-formed, and display excellent luster and overall aesthetics. The piece has a strong three-dimensional presence and balanced composition, making it not only a mineralogical rarity but also a visually striking display specimen.
The Navidad locality is now closed (originally fluorite mines), which significantly increases the collector’s value of specimens from this area. High-quality creedite pieces from this locality are becoming increasingly scarce on the market.
