Condition: Good vintage condition with honest case wear and a beautifully preserved dial and recently serviced movement. 

Dial and Hands
The watch features a stunning silver sunburst dial that catches the light beautifully, remaining exceptionally clean and free of significant spots, moisture damage, or discoloration. It is appointed with applied faceted baton indices and the iconic applied Rolex coronet at the 12 o'clock position. The black serif text for "ROLEX OYSTER ROYAL" and "PRECISION" is crisp and fully intact. The original alpha-style hour and minute hands exhibit a dark, age-consistent patina with visible lume degradation, contrasting handsomely against the bright dial. A slender blued steel center seconds hand adds a subtle touch of color and refinement to the overall display.

Case and Crystal
The 34mm stainless steel Oyster case presents in honest, unpolished-appearing condition, retaining its classic proportions. The smooth polished bezel shows light surface wear consistent with its age. The case flanks and lugs display typical handling marks and scratches, with more pronounced wear and scuffing visible between the lugs where the "REGISTERED DESIGN 6426" and serial number "835791" are engraved. The inner caseback is properly stamped "IV.62", dating the watch to the fourth quarter of 1962. The watch is fitted with a domed acrylic crystal that offers excellent clarity, and a classic Rolex-signed screw-down crown. 

Movement
Inside beats a robust Rolex 17-jewel manual-winding movement, clearly marked "MONTRES ROLEX S.A. GENEVA SWISS" along with the movement serial number "61586". The movement presents cleanly, with the gears and bridges showing a bright, well-maintained finish. Exhibiting remarkable accuracy and consistency, performing brilliantly for a vintage timepiece, the timegrapher results show an exceptional precision of +2 to +3 seconds per day with strong amplitude. The recently serviced movement performs with good performance. 

Strap
The watch is fitted with a modern black leather strap featuring a classic alligator-grain texture and contrasting white stitching, secured by a stainless steel pin buckle. 

Condition
This Rolex is in good vintage condition. The dial is exceptionally well-preserved and clean, while the hands show expected aging. The stainless steel case displays honest wear, scratches, and scuffs throughout, particularly between the lugs, characteristic of a watch that has been enjoyed over the decades. The movement is remarkably healthy and performing at an outstanding level.
